In just a few weeks Swedish premier division Allsvenskan will start. For the first time the league consists of 16 teams, and there's no doubt that the teams that can cope with the extra days will have an advantage. In 2008, there's also a pause in the league as the European Championship is being played this summer. This will put extra pressure on the teams, as the season is shrinked. Some weeks will consist of up to three matches.
