A difficult away game vs Kalmar FF where Hammarby didn't manage to grab a point.
Kalmar FF is by many seen as favorites to the Championship this year. Their players are physical, they have a direct type of football, and is difficult to beat.
Throughout the match, Hammarby had some dangerous counter attacks, but heavy Kalmar was too much. In the second half, Hammarby got three (!) players injured, important ones too: Suleyman Sleyman, Mikkel Jensen and Louay Chanko. To further add to the mayhem, left winger Claudio Dadomo was expelled.
Kristoffer "Poppen" Björklund was once again a wall, but at overtime it just got too much. A Kalmar player was left free at the far post, where he easily shot 1-0 to Kalmar.
Tough match, tough injuries.
