Today: Hammarby vs Helsingborgs IF

After the Derby on Monday, Hammarby coaches and players have been nothing but positive. Even though the result (1-1 after opponents receive penalty in the 92nd minute...) was a disappointment, the general feeling is that Hammarby was the better team over 90 minutes.

This evening, Helsinborgs IF are the opponents, and they come from another draw; 2-2 @ home vs Gefle. But Helsingborg is unbeaten so far, and their pre-season consisted of many UEFA-Cup matches where they performed well, especially Henrik Larsson (yeah, that guy from Celtic, Barcelona and Man U).

For this evening, three players are unavailable in Hammarby. Kleeber Saarenpää got knocked on the head in the Derby, so he’s out with a concussion. David Johansson just got a child and Rami Shaaban still got the flu, so they’re out too. But as left defender we’ll probably see Emil Johansson tonight. He made an excellent substitution on Monday, and hopefully he can perform as well tonight. Charlie Davies was speedy and dangerous vs AIK, even though he didn’t score. But it feels like he’s on his way to his top game, and hopefully he can score tonight.

It’s gonna be a tough game, because Helsingborg is an attacking team. But if we play our cards right, we’ll come out as victors. If it weren't for the referee, Martin Hansson. He's a son-of-a-bitch, we've had him before were he have performed lousy. Crap.
